The tournament typically took place during the first week of July, but since 2019 it has been played in late August. The course measures 7,178 yards and the par was 72. In 2019, the purse was ¥150,000,000, with ¥30,000,000 going to the winner. Juvic Pagunsan (born 11 May 1978) is a professional golfer from the Philippines who plays on the Japan Golf Tour and the Asian Tour. He won the 2007 Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational on the Asian Tour and the 2021 Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open on the Japan Golf Tour. is a Japanese professional golfer. Career Oda was born in Tagawa, Fukuoka. He turned professional in 2000. Oda won the 2008 Casio World Open and the 2009 Token Homemate Cup. Shugo Imahira (born 2 October 1992) is a Japanese professional golfer. He has played full-time on the Japan Golf Tour since 2015 and has won four times on the tour, between 2017 and 2019. Thanyakon Khrongpha (Some sources Thanyakorn)(; born 3 June 1990) is a Thai professional golfer. Khrongpha was a successful amateur, winning gold at the Southeast Asian Games, before turning professional in 2010. He promptly won his first professional tournament on the Asian Development Tour at the Kariza Classic in Indonesia.
