Shields And Yarnell
Shields and Yarnell were an American mime team, formed in 1972, consisting of Robert Shields (born March 26, 1951) and Lorene Yarnell (March 21, 1944 – July 29, 2010). Robert Shields Shields was born in Los Angeles and graduated from Grant High School. At the age of 18, while working as a street mime and performing at the Hollywood Wax Museum, he was discovered by Marcel Marceau, who offered him a full scholarship to his school of mime in Paris. His apprenticeship was short-lived, however, as he felt the need to develop his own style and pry mime loose from its artsy pedestal. Shields soon returned to California, working in Union Square, San Francisco. Shields is credited with being the originator of "The Robot" moves early in his career. A shield is a piece of personal armour held in the hand, which may or may not be strapped to the wrist or forearm. Shields are used to intercept specific attacks, whether from close-ranged weaponry or projectiles such as arrows, by means of active blocks, as well as to provide passive protection by closing one or more lines of engagement during combat. John Schuck
Conrad John Schuck Jr. (born February 4, 1940) is an American film, stage and television actor. He is best known for his role as Sgt. Charles Enright in the 1970s crime drama ''McMillan & Wife''. John Reardon (baritone)
John Reardon (April 8, 1930April 16, 1988) ( aged 58 ) was an American baritone and actor who was noted for his performances on television, including many appearances on the PBS children's television show ''Mister Rogers' Neighborhood''. Making his debut with the New York City Opera in 1954, he sang 33 roles with them until 1972, returning in 1983 for performances as Danilo in ''The Merry Widow''. Reardon was a member of the New York Metropolitan Opera from 1965 until 1977, appearing in such operas as '' Carmen'' and '' Jenufa''. In 1967, Reardon created the role of Orin Mannon (the equivalent of Orestes in Aeschylus' ''Oresteia'') in the world premiere of Marvin David Levy's ''Mourning Becomes Electra''. The St. Louis Municipal Opera Theatre (commonly known as The Muny) is an amphitheatre, amphitheater located in St. Louis, Missouri. ''Can-Can'' is a musical with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, and a book by Abe Burrows. The story concerns the showgirls of the Montmartre dance halls during the 1890s. ''The Carol Burnett Show'' is an American variety/sketch comedy television show that originally ran on CBS from September 11, 1967, to March 29, 1978, for 279 episodes, and again with nine episodes in fall 1991.
