Shiela Marie Pineda
Shiela Marie "Bang" Pineda (born January 21, 1991) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. Career Pineda played for Adamson Lady Falcons during the UAAP Season 75 being named Best Server and the UAAP Season 76. She then played for Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns in the 11th Season Open Conference being named Best Digger and 12th Season Reinforced Open Conference before joining Petron Tri-Activ Spikers. In the 2017 season of the Philippine SuperLiga, Pineda and teammate Frances Molina of Petron XCS won the bronze medal in the Beach Challenge Cup. Petron Blaze Spikers swept the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the All-Filipino Conference finals and won the championship. For the Grand Prix conference, her team placed second against their same opponent in the All-Filipino conference. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The 2015 PLDT Home Ultera PSL All-Filipino was the first conference of the Philippine Super Liga for its third season. Petron Blaze Spikers
The Petron Blaze Spikers were a professional women's volleyball team that played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2020. After the cancellation of the 2020 season of the PSL due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the team took a leave of absence from the league and released all its players. The team was owned by Petron Corporation. The company's involvement in volleyball began in 2002 when it established the Petron Ladies Beach Volleyball Tournament. Team history Petron became the first team to sweep a PSL tournament with a 13–0 record and claim the 2015 All-Filipino championship, its second consecutive PSL title. At their stint in the 2015 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship in Ha Nam, Vietnam, the team finished at 8th place with only one game won out of six matches played. The 2014 PSL Grand Prix was the second tournament of the Philippine Super Liga for its 2014 season. The tournament ran from October 18, 2014 to November 30, 2014. The tournament's major sponsor was Asics. FIVB Referees Commission director Mohammed Hassan was the guest of honor of the opening ceremony held in Smart-Araneta Coliseum. The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: 1st Conference is the 19th conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on March 23, 2014, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There are 12 teams competing this including the join forces of all the top selected players from Davao in one team (called as Davao Lady Agilas) and the debut of St. Louis University of Baguio.
