The Sheffield Wednesday Academy is the youth system of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. The academy runs two sides; the U23 Development squad, and the U18 Academy. Both play in the respective age groups' Professional Development League Division 2 North leagues. Luke Boden
Luke Boden (born 26 November 1988) is an English retired professional footballer who is currently an assistant coach for the Rollins College men's soccer team. Career England Boden made his breakthrough when still a Sheffield Wednesday academy player. He was called up to the senior squad at the start of the 2006–07 season to ease the club's injury problems. He made his debut when he came on as a substitute in the Championship game at Plymouth Argyle on 19 August 2006. On 18 September 2008 he was loaned out to League Two side Chesterfield for a month. Lewis McMahon
Lewis James McMahon (born 2 May 1985) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Australian Football West Premier League club Floreat Athena. He has previously played for Sheffield Wednesday, Notts County, York City, Gainsborough Trinity, Matlock Town and North Ferriby United. Sean McAllister
Sean Brian McAllister (born 15 August 1987) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Primarily as a central midfielder, he has good vision and passing ability. He began his professional career at Sheffield Wednesday in 2006, and had spells on loan at Mansfield Town and Bury, before establishing himself in the Wednesday first team in the 2008–09 season. Connor Alexander Kirby (born 10 September 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Buxton. Alexander John Hunt (born 29 May 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for York City. Ritchie Humphreys
Ritchie John Humphreys (born 30 November 1977) is an English former professional footballer. He is a former chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) and holds a UEFA A Licence coaching qualification. Humphreys started his career with Premier League club Sheffield Wednesday in 1996. Whilst with the club, he was loaned out to Scunthorpe United and Cardiff City. George David Eric Hirst (born 15 February 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for EFL Championship club Ipswich Town.
