Shaun Rogers (American Football)
Shaun Christopher O'Shea Rogers (born March 12, 1979) is a former American football defensive tackle. He played college football for the University of Texas. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2nd round (61st overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft. Rogers has also played for the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). Running back Adrian Peterson considered Rogers one of the hardest-hitting players in the NFL. A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. La Porte ( ) is a city in Harris County, Texas, United States, within the Bay Area of the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 35,124. Adrian Peterson
Adrian Lewis Peterson (born March 21, 1985) is an American football running back who is a free agent. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest running backs in football history. He played college football at Oklahoma, where he set the freshman rushing record with 1,925 yards during the 2004 season. The 2001 NFL Draft was the 66th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible professional football players.
