Shakey's V-League 13th Season Open Conference
The Shakey's V-League 13th Season Open Conference was the 25th conference of the Shakey's V-League and the first conference for its 13th season. The conference commenced on May 22, 2016 with an opening ceremony at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan. The first games were on May 28, 2016, also at the same venue. The previous season's conference champion, PLDT Home Ultera Ultra Fast Hitters, and runner-up Philippine Army Lady Troopers, decided to forgo their participation in this year's Open Conference. There were eight (8) competing teams for this conference: NU Lady Bulldogs, UP Lady Maroons, Pocari Sweat, Team Laoag, Team Baguio, Team Iriga, Bali Pure and Philippine Air Force Air Spikers. The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The Spikers' Turf has served as the men's counterpart of the league. Isa Molde
Maria Lina Isabel "Isa" Molde is a Filipino volleyball player playing for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans Volleyball Team in the Premiere Volleyball League (PVL). Career Molde was a member of the U17 Philippines national women's volleyball team in 2014, the Under-17 team finished 7th among 13 teams in the 2014 Asian Youth Girls Volleyball Championship. It defeated Australia and India while losing to China in straight sets in the Group C stage. In the Qualifying Round, it lost to Thailand while winning against New Zealand in 4 sets. Kathy Bersola
Katherine Adrielle "Kathy" Reyes Bersola (born March 18, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with the University of the Philippines - UP Lady Maroons Volleyball Team. Bersola holds a degree in Sports Science with summa cum laude honors from UP Diliman and later admitted at UP College of Medicine. Michele Theresa Imperial Gumabao (; born September 2, 1992) is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. She is currently signed to the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), and has previously played for teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). Jamenea "Jem" Ferrer is a Filipina volleyball player. She was a 3-time UAAP best setter awardee while playing for the Ateneo university Lady Eagles volleyball team. Maria Rosario "Charo" Soriano (born October 14, 1985) is a Filipino volleyball player, coach, and politician. Soriano is one of the founders of Beach Volleyball Republic, an outdoor volleyball tournament, and a board member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. Dzi Gervacio
Angeline Marie Gervacio, also known as Dzi Gervacio, is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a former Ateneo Lady Eagles player and plays for the Petro Gazz Angels. She is known as the Queen of Jump Serve. Career Gervacio won the WNCAA Juniors Division Best Attacker award in 2006 and 2007.
