Shakey's V-League 10th Season 1st Conference
The Shakey's V-League 10th Season: 1st Conference is the eighteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on April 7, 2013 with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There are three new teams who are participating in this season, they are the Arellano University Lady Chiefs, De La Salle University - Dasmariñas Lady Patriots, and the University of San Carlos Lady Warriors. This three new teams will face the seven current participating teams like ADMU, AdU, UST, NU, SSC-R, UPHSD and CSJL. At the end of the elimination round, the Lady Eagles of the Ateneo de Manila University and the Lady Bulldogs of the National University emerged on the top of standings in their respective group via complete sweep 4–0. Filoil Flying V Arena
The Filoil EcoOil Centre, formerly Filoil Flying V Centre, Filoil Flying V Arena and The Arena in San Juan, also known as the Entertainment and Recreational Arena of the People (initials taken after former mayor and president Joseph Estrada's nickname 'Erap'), is an indoor sporting arena located in Santolan Road Bonny Serrano Avenue, Corazon de Jesus, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. Dzi Gervacio
Angeline Marie Gervacio, also known as Dzi Gervacio, is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a former Ateneo Lady Eagles player and plays for the Petro Gazz Angels. She is known as the Queen of Jump Serve. Career Gervacio won the WNCAA Juniors Division Best Attacker award in 2006 and 2007. After completing her undergraduate studies at the Ateneo de Manila University and her UAAP career in March 2013, ending the Fab 5 era, Gervacio began her law studies at the same university. Alyssa Valdez
Alyssa Caymo Valdez (; born June 29, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. The Arellano University Chiefs is the athletic team of Arellano University. It is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA). The team has several intercollegiate varsity sports teams for women and men at Arellano. History Originally as the Arellano Flaming Arrows, the team won the National Student's Championship (NSC) in the 1970s. Years later, the Chiefs entered the best-of-three finals in the men's basketball division of the NCRAA in 2006 when they were defeated by the Saint Francis of Assisi College Doves. Arellano University (AU) is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian university located in Manila, the Philippines. The San Sebastian Golden Stags (also known as SSC-R Stags) are the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) basketball team of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos.
