Shakan Pitters
Shakan Pitters (born 31 July 1989) is an English professional boxer who held the British light-heavyweight title in 2020. Professional career Pitters made his professional debut on 18 March 2017 as a cruiserweight, scoring a four-round points decision (PTS) victory over Remigijus Ziausys at the Holte Suite in Villa Park, Birmingham. he secured three more PTS victories in 2017; Over Jevgenijs Andrejevs in June; Dmitrij Kalinovskij in September; and Jiri Svacina in November. He began 2018 with a PTS win over Elvis Dube in March, followed by stoppage wins over Kent Kauppinen in May and Imantas Davidaitis in September. In August, Pitters was announced as a contestant in the second edition of the Ultimate Boxxer tournament. Dan Azeez
Dan Azeez (born 30 August 1989) is a British professional boxer. He is the only British light-heavyweight to capture all British Boxing Board of Control domestic titles. He has held the British title since 2021; the Commonwealth title since 2022; and European title since March 2023. Amateur career Azeez started boxing as an amateur competitively while studying at Essex University where he got a degree in Accounting and Finance. He boxed under the tutelage of Gordon Charlesworth at the Colchester-based amateur boxing club. Dan had over 60 contests and was crowned ABA South of England champion three times. Joshua Buatsi
Joshua Buatsi (born 14 March 1993) is a British professional boxer who held the British light-heavyweight title in 2019, and the WBA International light-heavyweight title between 2018 and 2021. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal in the light-heavyweight division at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Buatsi is managed by two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Early life Buatsi was born on 14 March 1993 in Accra, Ghana. After his family moved to the UK, they resided in Thornton Heath in south London. Buatsi studied at Edenham High School. The Resorts World Arena is a multipurpose indoor arena located at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Solihull, England. It has a capacity of 15,685 seats. Arena Birmingham (known for sponsorship reasons as Utilita Arena Birmingham, and previously as The Barclaycard Arena and originally as the National Indoor Arena) is an indoor arena and sporting venue in central Birmingham, United Kingdom. It is owned by parent company the NEC Group. When it was opened in 1991, it was the largest indoor arena in the UK. The arena was renamed Utilita Arena Birmingham on 15 April 2020. The O2
The O2 is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London, England, including an indoor arena, a music club, a Cineworld cinema, an exhibition space, piazzas, bars, and restaurants. Redditch is a town, and local government district, in north-east Worcestershire, England, approximately south of Birmingham. The district has a population of 85,000 as of 2019.
