Shahab Alam ( ne, शाहब आलम) is a Nepalese cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spinner. He made his debut for Nepal against the Netherlands in April 2021. He represents the Nepal Army Club in domestic cricket. Playing career Alam represented Nepal national under-19 cricket team in the 2017 ICC Asia Under-19s World Cup Qualifier and picked up 12 wickets at an average of 10.08. He took three wickets for 15 runs in the final of the 2017 ACC Under-19 Eastern Region against Hong Kong as Nepal qualified for the 2017 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup. In an Under-19 Asia Cup match against India, he took two crucial wickets for 11 runs and helped his team win the match. Siddharthanagar ( ne, सिद्धार्थनगर), formerly and colloquially still called Bhairahawa ( ne, भैरहवा), is a municipality and the administrative headquarter of Rupandehi District in Lumbini Province of Nepal, west of Nepal's capital Kathmandu. The 2020–21 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 international cricket tournament that took place in April 2021 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Malaysia and the Netherlands. The matches were all played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The tournament was played in a double round-robin format, followed by a final between the top two sides. The penultimate round-robin match, between Malaysia and the Netherlands, ended in a tie. The 2020 Manmohan Memorial National One-Day Cricket Tournament was the second edition of one of the main domestic 50-over competitions in Nepal, alongside the Prime Minister One Day Cup.
