Señorita Panamá 2021
Señorita Panamá 2021 was the 55th Señorita Panamá pageant. It selected the national representatives to the Miss Universe, Miss Supranational, and Miss Grand International competitions. This was the sixth edition of the renewed Señorita Panama pageant, under the direction of Cesar Anel Rodríguez, who took charge of the national event in 2016. Twenty nine preliminary contestants were selected from throughout Panama and competed for the crown. The 2021 edition was held, for the first time, Hotel Whyndham Convention Center, in Panama City on November 7, 2021. Señorita Panamá 2020 Carmen Isabel Jaramillo Velarde of Panama Este crowned Brenda Smith Lezama of Panamá Centro as her successor at the end of the event. Brenda Smith Lezama
Brenda Andrea Smith Lezama (born 25 May 1994) is a Panamanian-American actress, journalism, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Señorita Panamá 2021. She represented Panama at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel. Early life Smith was born in Georgia, United States. Her father is from Panamá and her mother is Mexican. Miss Supranational 2022
Miss Supranational 2022 was the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, held on 15 July 2022, at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Chanique Rabe of Namibia crowned Lalela Mswane of South Africa at the end of the event. This edition marked the first back to back win for contestants from Africa, and the first Black woman who won Miss Supranational. Santiago de Veraguas () is the capital of the province of Veraguas, in the Republic of Panama, and the district or municipality of the same name. Located in the countryside next to the Pan American Highway. Santa Fe, Veraguas
Santa Fe is the name of the capital of the Santa Fe District in the province of Veraguas in Panama. It has a population of 3200 and lies at an altitude of about 430m. Santa Fe lies close to the continental divide and just 60 km from the Mosquito Coast at the Caribbean Sea, but is only connected to the Pacific coast with a paved road to the Pan-American Highway and the city of Santiago de Veraguas. Coiba
Coiba is the largest island in Central America, with an area of , off the Pacific coast of the Panamanian province of Chiriquí. It is part of the Tolé District of that province. History Coiba separated from continental Panama about 12,000 to 18,000 years ago when sea levels rose. Barro Colorado Island
Barro Colorado Island is located in the man-made Gatun Lake in the middle of the Panama Canal. The island was formed when the waters of the Chagres River were dammed to form the lake in 1913. When the waters rose, they covered a significant part of the existing tropical forest, but certain hilltops remained as islands in the middle of the lake. It has an area of . Isla Del Rey (Panama)
Isla del Rey is the largest island in the Pearl Islands in the Gulf of Panama. It has an area of , and a population of 1,676 (census 2000). Its current name is probably more a reference to Christ the King than to a secular king. There are four towns, which are San Miguel (pop. 967), La Esmeralda (pop. 524), La Ensenada (pop. 94) and La Guinea (pop. 83).
