Sexy Susan Sins Again
''Sexy Susan Sins Again'' (German: ''Frau Wirtin hat auch einen Grafen'', Italian: ''Susanna... ed i suoi dolci vizi alla corte del re'') is a 1968 Austrian-Italian costume drama-adventure-sex comedy film directed by Franz Antel. It is the first film of the series ''Frau Wirtin'', following the 1967 film '' The Sweet Sins of Sexy Susan''. Plot Susanne Delberg (Teri Tordai as Terry Torday) and her friend Ferdinand (Harald Leipnitz) are assigned by Count Andrea ( Béla Ernyey) to deliver some documents to his brother Enrico ( Jeffrey Hunter), in order to save their family assets from Leduc (Jacques Herlin), the counsellor of Elisa Bonaparte ( Pascale Petit). The duo and Susanne's prostitutes guised as an actors' troupe travel to Lucca in the Kingdom of Etruria, managing to save Enrico from an assassination attempt by Leduc and rescue him. Franz Antel
Franz Antel (28 June 1913 – 11 August 2007) was a veteran Austrian filmmaker. Born in Vienna, Antel worked mainly as a film producer in the interwar years. After World War II, he began writing and directing films on a large scale. In the late 1940s, 1950s and 1960s these were mainly comedies ( romantic, slapstick, and/or musical) and K.u.k. films' all of which, for Austrian and German TV stations alike, have been a staple of weekend afternoon programming ever since. In between there is quite a sober film about the Oberst (Colonel) Redl affair that shook the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy on the eve of World War I. Antel himself later commented on this period, "I always wanted to provide good entertainment for the people at the cinema. Jacques Herlin (17 August 1927 – 7 June 2014) was a French character actor. Born in Paris as Jacques de Jouette, he appeared in an impressive number of films from the early sixties. Daniela Giordano (7 November 1947– 16 December 2022) was an Italian actress, who is foremost known for her appearances in the Italian exploitation cinema in the late 1960s and in the 1970s. She is not to be confused with the stage actress and director of the same name. Miss Italia Daniela Giordano was the winner of local beauty pageants in her hometown Palermo and by the year 1966, as ''Miss Sicily'', won the Miss Italia contest. Eufemia "Femi" Benussi (born 4 March 1945) is a Yugoslav-Italian film actress. She appeared in 82 films between 1965 and 1983. Benussi was born in Rovigno, Italy (now Rovinj, Croatia). Hannelore Auer is an Austrian Schlager singer and film actress who managed the German singer Heino. Personal life Auer was romantically linked with Franz Antel and appeared in the '' Frau Wirtin'' series of the director. In 1968, she married Austrian prince Alfred (von) Auersperg (1936-1992) and after their divorce in 1979, married Heino. The Grand Duchy of Hesse and by Rhine (german: link=no, Großherzogtum Hessen und bei Rhein) was a grand duchy in western Germany that existed from 1806 to 1918. The Grand Duchy originally formed from the Landgraviate of Hesse-Darmstadt in 1806 as the Grand Duchy of Hesse (german: Großherzogtum Hessen, link=no). It assumed the name Hesse and bei Rhein in 1816 to distinguish itself from the Electorate of Hesse, which had formed from neighbouring Hesse-Kassel. Colloquially, the grand duchy continued to be known by its former name of Hesse-Darmstadt. In 1806, the Landgraviate of Hesse-Darmstadt seceded from the Holy Roman Empire and joined Napoleon's new Confederation of the Rhine. Heinrich Schweiger (23 July 1931 – 14 July 2009) was an Austrian film and stage actor who played leading roles at the Burgtheater on the Ring beginning in 1949. Among the plays in which he starred were Schiller's ''Don Carlos'', Shakespeare's '' Othello'' and '' Richard III'' and Kurt Weill's ''The Threepenny Opera''. The Kingdom of Etruria (; it, Regno di Etruria) was an Italian kingdom between 1801 and 1807 that made up a large part of modern Tuscany.
