Sertaç Şanlı
Sertaç Şanlı (born 5 August 1991) is a Turkish professional basketball player for FC Barcelona of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He plays at the center position. Professional career He made his professional debut in the TB2L with Genç Telekom during the 2008-09 season. In the summer of 2010, he signed a contract with Galatasaray. On 18 October 2011, Sertaç transferred to Tofaş Bursa on a one-year loan deal till end of the 2011-12 season. He played 5 league games for Tofaş Bursa. He signed with Anadolu Efes in 2018. He averaged 7.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in the 2019-20 season. On July 14, 2020, he re-signed with the team. On July 1, 2021, he has signed with FC Barcelona of the Spanish Liga ACB. Liga ACB
The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The competition was founded as the ACB Primera División on 1983 following the decision of clubs in the Liga Nacional, founded in 1957, to break away from the Spanish Basketball Federation and professionalize the league. The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the 18th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men's national basketball teams. EuroBasket 2017
EuroBasket 2017 was the 40th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe and held between 31 August and 17 September 2017. Beginning from 2017, the continental championships take place every four years with a similar system of qualification as for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Like the previous edition, the tournament was co-hosted by four countries. Games in the group stage were held in Turkey, Finland, Israel and Romania. The knock-out phase was played in Istanbul, Turkey. Slovenia won their first-ever tournament after defeating Serbia 93–85 in the final. The Turkish Basketball Second League, also called TB2L, is Turkish basketball league system, the third-tier level league of professional club basketball in Turkey. The league was previously called the Turkish Basketball Third League (TB3L). Format and promotion and relegation There are a total of 15 teams participating in the league for the TB2L 2019–20 season. Each team plays each other in their group twice during the regular season. The top 8 teams from each group qualify to an elimination round (best of 3 games).
