Serie B De México
The Serie B is a Mexican association football league. Eleven teams compete in one group. Since the 2021–22 season, it is two short tournaments. The top two teams directly to the semifinals & the next four teams in the standings at end of each torneo will play will play a one-game playoff to advance to the Liguilla to play for promotion to Liga Premier – Serie A, and the stadium must meet the requirements to promote as well. In the 2020–21 season, Serie B was on hiatus due to COVID-19, but Serie B was reactivated for the 2021–22 season. Club Calor
The Club de Fútbol Calor, commonly known as Calor, is a Mexican football (soccer), football club based in Monclova, Coahuila. The club was founded in 2001, and currently plays in the Serie A de México, Serie A of Liga Premier de México, Liga Premier. History The team was founded in 2001 under the name ''El Calor de San Pedro'', based on San Pedro, Coahuila on Tercera División de México, Tercera División. The squad was created with the objective of training players from the Mexican-Canadian League, a local competition. Deportivo Zitácuaro
The Club Deportivo de Fútbol Zitácuaro, commonly known as Zitácuaro, is a Mexican football club based in Zitácuaro. The club was founded in 1995, and currently plays in the Serie B of Liga Premier. History The team was formed in 1995, being registered in the Third Division. In its first year the team won the category championship and promotion to the Second Division. In the summer of 2001 the team was champion of the Second Division after defeating Cihuatlán. Later the team got its promotion to Primera División A after defeating Halcones de Querétaro in a promotion play-off. Deportivo Pioneros de Cancún F.C. is a football team based in Cancún, México that plays in the Liga Premier Serie B. History The club was founded on May 3, 1984, and in the same year joined the Tercera División de México. It won its first cup after defeating Los Conejos, at the Estadio Víctor Manuel Reyna in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. The following year, the club finished in third place and played in a promotional playoff with the Lobos and Aguilas B clubs. As a result, the club was promoted to the Segunda B. The Club Atlético Angelópolis is a Mexican football club based in Puebla City. The club was founded in 2020, and currently plays in the Serie B of Liga Premier. History The team was founded in October 2020 as Atlético Rivadavia, having its field in San Pedro Cholula, a municipality belonging to the Puebla metro area. The Serie A has 33 teams (1 Liga MX Reserve Team, 3 Liga de Expansión MX Reserve Teams and 29 Serie A Teams) divided into two groups. For the 2022–23 season, it will be a return of two short tournaments consisting of 10 total matches played home & away and the liguilla. The top 2 teams & two 3rd-place teams from each group at the end of each Torneo will play in the Liguilla for a spot to play for promotion to Liga de Expansión MX provided that their stadiums meet the requirements to ascend. The Serie A was created in the second half of 2008, with the participation and approval of the owners of the teams of the Second and Third Division, being next to Serie B part of the Liga Premier. Estadio Tecnológico De Oaxaca
The Estadio Tecnológico de Oaxaca is a multi-use stadium in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium for Alebrijes de Oaxaca. The stadium has a capacity of 16,000 people and also includes 72 luxury boxes. History Construction on the new stadium began in March 2013 as part of the 45th anniversary ceremonies of the Oaxaca Institute of Technology (ITO). Delays were incurred during the project when teachers and students of the ITO protested, prompting construction to be halted for 11 months and nearly forcing the Alebrijes to move out of Oaxaca.
