Septicflesh
Septicflesh (formerly known as Septic Flesh) are a Greek death metal band from Athens, founded in 1990. History Septicflesh were formed in Athens in March 1990 by Sotiris Vayenas (guitar), Spiros Antoniou (bass and vocals), and Christos Antoniou (guitars). They released a debut EP, ''Temple of the Lost Race'' in December with Black Power Records, 1991. The band recorded their first full-length album, '' Mystic Places of Dawn'', in April 1994 at the Storm studio with the co-production of Magus Wampyr Daoloth (who had been the keyboardist for Rotting Christ). released by Holy Records. They started working on a new album for 1995 and named it '' Esoptron''. Kerim Lechner
Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (born 26 January 1989) is an Austrian musician, best known for his drumming work for Polish technical death metal band Decapitated. He is currently the drummer for Greek symphonic death metal band Septicflesh. Before joining Decapitated, Lechner played in symphonic black metal band Thorns of Ivy from 2006 to 2009. Lechner joined Decapitated starting after their hiatus from 2007 to 2009, replacing deceased former drummer Witold Kiełtyka. Lechner played in the band until leaving in September 2012, performing on the band's album '' Carnival Is Forever''. In 2013, Lechner started an online fundraiser to fund his independently released solo album, titled ''Explore'', released on 26 September 2013. Spiros Antoniou (Greek: Σπύρος Αντωνίου; born 24 October 1973 in Athens, Greece) is a Greek death metal singer, bassist, and visual artist best known for his work with Greek symphonic death metal band Septicflesh, in which he has been since 1990 foundation and of which he is a founding member. He has also contributed to bands such as TheDevilWorx, Chaostar, and Thou Art Lord. Antoniou is also a visual artist under the pseudonym Seth Siro Anton. Rotting Christ
Rotting Christ is a Greek black metal band formed in 1987. They are noted for being one of the first black metal bands within this region, as well as a premier act within the European underground metal scene. They are also responsible for creating the signature Greek black metal sound prevalent in the early 1990s. History Rotting Christ was founded in 1987 as a grindcore act. Nightfall is a Greek extreme metal band from Athens. Formed by vocalist/bassist Efthimis Karadimas in 1991, the group is currently signed to Season of Mist. They are widely considered the forerunners to a "mediterranean way to black metal" together with Inchiuvatu and Moonspell. Season Of Mist
Season of Mist is an independent record label and record distributor with subsidiaries in France and the United States. The record label was founded in 1996 by Michael S. Berberian in Marseille, France.
