''Sensations'' is a 1975 pornographic film written by Veronique Monet, directed by Lasse Braun, and starring the writer and Brigitte Maier. It also features an appearance by Tuppy Owens. Exhibited at the Cannes Film Festival, it became the first European pornographic film to be distributed in the United States. Rosalind Mary Owens (born 12 November 1944), known as Tuppy Owens, is an English sex therapist, consultant, campaigner, writer and former adult model. Education Born in Cambridge, Owens gained a degree in zoology from Exeter University, and then worked in ecology in Africa and Trinidad. She settled in London, and worked as a scientific administrator at the Natural Environment Research Council. Lasse Braun (born Alberto Ferro; 11 January 1936 – 16 February 2015) was an Italian pornographer, film director, producer, screenwriter, novelist and researcher. He initially produced so-called loops, ten-minute hardcore movies that he sold to Reuben Sturman, who distributed them to 60,000 American peep show booths. In the 1970s, Braun produced and directed several lavish pornographic movies. He also wrote erotic novels and thrillers. Lasse Braun is the father of American pornographer Axel Braun. Life Braun was born into a wealthy, aristocratic Italian family as Alberto Ferro, and was destined to become a diplomat, following in his father's footsteps. Reuben Sturman (August 16, 1924 – October 27, 1997), sometimes referred as the "Walt Disney of Porn", was an American pornographer and businessman from Ohio, who co-founded sex toys company Doc Johnson.
