Sener Aeronáutica
Sener Aeronáutica is the aerospace arm of the Spanish company Grupo SENER. Since its formation in 1956, the group has developed expertise a number of fields including Marine, Power Systems, and Space. The group has links with a number of Spanish universities. Sener Aeronáutica has a major shareholding in Industria de Turbo Propulsores (ITP), which is helping to develop the Europrop TP400 engine for the Airbus A400M military transport. It is also involved in the Eurojet EJ200 military turbofan which powers the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter. Sener is also involved in the engineering of major Solar Power projects within Spain, such as the Andasol Solar Power Station and the Gemasolar Thermosolar Plant Gemasolar is a concentrated solar power plant with a molten salt heat storage system. Europrop TP400
The Europrop International TP400-D6 is an 11,000  shp (8,200 kW) powerplant, developed and produced by Europrop International for the Airbus A400M Atlas military transport aircraft. The TP400 is the most powerful turboprop in service using a single propeller; only the Kuznetsov NK-12 using contra-rotating propellers is larger. Eurojet EJ200
The Eurojet EJ200 is a military low-bypass turbofan used as the powerplant of the Eurofighter Typhoon. The engine is largely based on the Rolls-Royce XG-40 technology demonstrator, which was developed in the 1980s. The EJ200 is built by the EuroJet Turbo GmbH consortium. Andasol Solar Power Station
The Andasol solar power station is a 150-megawatt (MW) concentrated solar power station and Europe's first commercial plant to use parabolic troughs. It is located near Guadix in Andalusia, Spain, and its name is a portmanteau of Andalusia and Sol (Sun in Spanish).
