Selkirk Fishermen
The Selkirk Fishermen are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Selkirk, Manitoba. They are members of the Capital Region Junior Hockey League (CRJHL). The franchise was founded in 1917. They are the longest running junior hockey team in Canada. The Fishermen won the Abbott Cup in 1920, making them the Junior Champion for Western Canada and earning a playoff against the George Richardson Memorial Trophy winning Eastern Champion for the Memorial Cup. The Fishermen lost the Memorial Cup competition against the Toronto Canoe Club Paddlers. History Since 1978, the Fishermen have won a province-leading 11 Baldy Northcott Trophy championships as Manitoba Junior B champions. In 1983, the Fishermen made history in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, by defeating the Saskatoon Wesleys of the North Saskatchewan Junior B Hockey League to win the inaugural Keystone Cup championship. Selkirk is a city in the western Canadian province of Manitoba, located on the Red River about northeast of the provincial capital Winnipeg. It has a population of 10,504 as of the 2021 census. The Lundar Falcons are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Lundar, Manitoba. Home games are played at Lundar Arena. History Lundar Falcons were formed for the 2010–11 season as a member of the Keystone Junior Hockey League, where they competed until 2018. The team had one of their best seasons in 2012–13 under then head coach Arnie Caplan, who helped guide the team to its first finish above .500 mark. Campbell River Storm
The Campbell River Storm are a Junior "B" ice hockey team based in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL). The Storm play their home games at Rod Brind'Amour Arena. Lee Stone has been the coach since 2013. They are captained by defenceman Kyle Jennings. The Storm joined the league in 1997 as an expansion team. In its VIJHL history, the team has won the Cyclone Taylor Cup twice, in 1999 and 2015. The North Winnipeg Satelites are a junior "B" ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They are members of the Capital Region Junior Hockey League (CRJHL).
