Triton (; grc-gre, Τρίτων, Trítōn) is a Greek god of the sea, the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, god and goddess of the sea respectively. Lac La Charité
Lac is the resinous secretion of a number of species of lac insects, of which the most commonly cultivated is ''Kerria lacca''. Cultivation begins when a farmer gets a stick that contains eggs ready to hatch and ties it to the tree to be infested. The lac aux Biscuits (Cookies Lake) (formerly named "Lac à la Croix" in French or Cross Lake in English) is located in Haute-Batiscanie in the municipality of Lac-Édouard, Quebec, in La Tuque, in the administrative region of the Mauricie, in the province of Quebec, Canada. The Batiscan River is located in La Mauricie administrative region, in the Quebec province, Canada. This river flows from Lake Édouard in Mauricie south and west to empty into the St. Lawrence River at Batiscan, Quebec, northeast of Trois-Rivières, Quebec.
