Secretariat of Intelligence ( es, Secretaría de Inteligencia, SIDE) was the premier intelligence agency of the Argentina, Argentine Republic and head of its Sistema de Inteligencia Nacional, National Intelligence System. Chaired by the ''Secretary of State Intelligence'' who is a special member of the Ministries of the Argentine Republic, Cabinet of Ministers, the Secretariat of Intelligence was a technical and operational service charged with the collection and production of Intelligence (information gathering), intelligence and Counter-intelligence, counterintelligence in internal and foreign areas, as well as the analysis and formation of a national intelligence strategy in order to handle state affairs. Pedro Eugenio Aramburu
Pedro Eugenio Aramburu Silveti (May 21, 1903 – June 1, 1970) was an Argentine Army general. He was a major figure behind the '' Revolución Libertadora'', the military coup against Juan Perón in 1955. He became dictator of Argentina, serving from November 13, 1955 to May 1, 1958.
