Secretariat For Communications
The Dicastery for Communication ( it, Dicastero per la Comunicazione) is a division ( dicastery) of the Roman Curia with authority over all communication offices of the Holy See and the Vatican City State. Its various offices can be accessed through its website. These are the Pope's website and other offices such as Vatican News on internet (including the former Vatican Media Center which distributes segments for television), the Holy See Press Office, L'Osservatore Romano, Photograph Service, Vatican Radio, , and the Vatican Publishing House. The Pontifical Council for Social Communications has been subsumed into this new Dicastery. Pope Francis established the Secretariat for Communication in June 2015, with Monsignor Dario Edoardo Viganò, former director of the Vatican Television Center, as its first prefect. Pope Francis ( la, Franciscus; it, Francesco; es, link=, Francisco; born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, 17 December 1936) is the head of the Catholic Church. He has been the bishop of Rome and sovereign of the Vatican City State since 13 March 2013. Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm (October 2, 1952) is a Vietnamese prelate of the Catholic Church. He serves as fourth bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mỹ Tho since July 30, 2014 and the Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam since 2016. Marcello Semeraro (born 22 December 1947) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who has been the Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints since October 2020. He was previously Bishop of Albano and secretary to the group of cardinals named by Pope Francis to advise him. Gintaras Grušas (born 23 September 1961) is a Lithuanian–American prelate of the Catholic Church. A bishop since 2010, he has been the archbishop of Vilnius, Lithuania, since April 2013. Diarmuid Martin
Diarmuid Martin (born 8 April 1945) is the retired Roman Catholic Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland. Martin was ordained a priest in 1969 and represented the Holy See at major United Nations International Conferences before becoming the Archbishop of Dublin in 2004. Beniamino Stella (born 18 August 1941) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who was Prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy from 2013 to 2021; he has been a cardinal since 2014. Chibly Langlois (; born 29 November 1958) is a Haitian cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He is bishop of Les Cayes since 15 August 2011, and president of Haiti’s Bishops’ Conference. John Njue
John Njue (born 1944) is a Kenyan Cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was the fourth Archbishop of Nairobi from 2007 to 2021. He previously served as Coadjutor Archbishop of Nyeri from 2002 to 2007 and Bishop of Embu from 1986 to 2002. He was elevated to the rank of cardinal in 2007. Biography Njue was born in Embu, Kenya, in 1944 to Joseph Nyanga Kibariki and Monica Ngina Nyaga. He was baptized in 1948, and entered the minor seminary in Nkubu in 1962.
