Sebastián Córdova
Francisco Sebastián Córdova Reyes (born 12 June 1997) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga MX club Tigres UANL and the Mexico national team. Club career Born in Aguascalientes, Córdova joined the youth academy of Club América in 2015. He spent 2016 on loan with Ascenso MX side Alebrijes de Oaxaca, only managing two appearances between league and Copa MX, totaling 21 minutes of action; in his sole Ascenso MX appearance, Córdova came on as an 85th-minute substitute against Murciélagos in Oaxaca's 4–1 victory. He played 16 minutes in Oaxaca's scoreless draw against the same opposition in the Copa MX. Following the loan spell, Córdova returned to Club América's youth side. The Mexico national football team () represents Mexico in international football and is governed by the Mexican Football Federation (). It competes as a member of CONCACAF. Mexico has qualified to seventeen World Cups and has qualified consecutively since 1994, making it one of six countries to do so. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. Formerly known as Primera División A (First Division A) the league rebranded in 2009 its name and competition format to Liga de Ascenso. It was rebranded in 2012 as Ascenso MX. Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo (; born 17 January 1973) is a Mexican politician and former professional footballer who is the current Governor of Morelos under the coalition '' Juntos Haremos Historia''. He formerly served as the municipal president of Cuernavaca, Morelos. Cantera, literally meaning "quarry" in Spanish, is a term used in Spain to refer to youth academies and farm teams organized by sports clubs. It is also used to refer to the geographical area that clubs recruit players from. The term is widely used in football but is also applied to other sports, such as basketball. Leonel Jesús Vangioni Rangel (born 5 May 1987) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a left-back for Newell's Old Boys in the Argentine Primera División. The video assistant referee (VAR) is a match official in association football who reviews decisions made by the referee. The assistant video assistant referee (AVAR) is a current or former referee appointed to assist the VAR in the video operation room. The 2019–20 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 73rd professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The season was divided into two championships—the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura—each in an identical format and each contested by the same nineteen teams. The Apertura tournament began on 19 July 2019. On 15 March 2020, the Mexican Football Federation suspended the Clausura seasons of Liga MX, Ascenso MX and Liga MX Femenil indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. Club de Fútbol Lobos de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla were a Mexican football club based in Puebla, Mexico. The club represented the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. The club's history goes back to the early 1930s when it was known as Preparatoria, formed exclusively by players who attended the university. The club has played on and off since then.
