Sean Slater
Sean Slater is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera '' EastEnders'', played by Robert Kazinsky who made his first appearance on 22 August 2006. Sean's existence was revealed on 9 December 2005 when his sister Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) returns to Walford after their mother, Jean (Gillian Wright), attempts suicide. Kazinsky was suspended from work for two months in 2007. It was announced on 18 January 2008 that Kazinsky would be leaving the show and he made his final appearance on 1 January 2009. He returned for a brief stint on 26 April 2019 and departed again on 6 May 2019. Kazinsky returned again for one-off stints on 1 November 2021 and 7 April 2022. Robert John Appleby (born 18 November 1983), known professionally as Robert Kazinsky, is an English actor. He is known for his roles as Casper Rose in the Sky One drama ''Dream Team'', the Don in '' Captain Marvel'', Sean Slater in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', Chuck Hansen in ''Pacific Rim'', and Macklyn Warlow in the sixth season of HBO's ''True Blood''. In 2016, he played Orgrim Doomhammer in ''Warcraft'' and Jimmy Pritchard in the Fox television series '' Second Chance''. Early life Kazinsky was born Robert John Appleby in Haywards Heath, Sussex, England on 18 November 1983. Kazinsky is Jewish. He is also a fluent speaker of Hebrew.
