"Sea of Voices" is a song recorded by American electronic music producer Porter Robinson. It was released on March 3, 2014 as the first single from his debut studio album '' Worlds'' (2014). The track revealed the tone of ''Worlds'' as emotional and nostalgic, as opposed to his older complextro dance music style. The song features uncredited vocals from Breanne Düren. The song was a hit on the American Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Composition Robinson has stated that "Sea of Voices" is one of his favorite tracks on the album in addition to "Divinity", "Goodbye to a World", "Sad Machine", "Fellow Feeling", and " Flicker". He has stated that "Sea of Voices" went through many versions, including a version where he used the Vocaloid voice, Avanna, to provide the vocal. Porter Weston Robinson (born July 15, 1992) is an American DJ, record producer, musician, and singer from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Robinson began producing music in his childhood. He signed to Skrillex's record label Owsla, OWSLA at the age of 18, and released the extended play Spitfire (EP), ''Spitfire'' in 2011. He appeared on ''Billboard'''s 21 Under 21 list in 2012. Galimatias (born Matias Saabye Køedt) is an electronic music artist from the small town of Fredericia in rural Denmark. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Galimatias is most known for his 2015 EP ''Urban Flora'' with American singer-songwriter Alina Baraz. Career Galimatias began making music as a teenager, and produced tracks for Danish hip-hop acts around the turn of the 2010s. In 2012, he released two EPs of mellow, downtempo instrumentals: ''Luna Soul'' and ''Sunlight Reigns Supreme''.
