Sea Life Busan Aquarium
Sea Life Busan Aquarium is an aquarium located in Haeundae Beach, South Korea. Description There are about 250 species and up to 35,000 marine animals on display. The main tank contains of water, and the animals can be viewed through acrylic windows or from the underwater tunnel. There are 40 exhibits, which include penguins, otters, piranha, sea jellies and a touch tank for a close up "hands on" look at a variety of sea creatures. Ownership Busan Aquarium is a joint project between Living and Leisure Australia (LLA) and local government. This is the first major tourism undertaking with a local government under the Private Investment Promotion of Infrastructure Law. , formerly the , is a aquarium in the Higashiibaraki District of Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, north of Oarai port at the mouth of the Naka River. The aquarium focuses on displaying sharks, and 59 types of sharks live in the aquarium. Many varieties of marine species can be found in Aqua World. The fee for entry varies according to age group. Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium is a Southern Ocean and Antarctic aquarium in central Melbourne, Australia. It is located on the banks of the Yarra River beside and under the Flinders Street Viaduct and the King Street Bridge. The attraction is a Sea Life Centre owned by Merlin Entertainments. History The current building was built between February 1998 and December 1999, the building was designed by Peddle Thorp architects to resemble a ship moored to the river, and opened in January 2000.
