Scout Association Of Uzbekistan
Scouting in Uzbekistan was founded in , and is working toward World Organization of the Scout Movement recognition. In 1998, Scouting was limited to two Scout troops with a total of 15 members. Since the increasing presence of the United States military in the region after the September 11, 2001 attacks, Scouting is beginning to develop more thoroughly, and the fledgling organization, ''Kidirib Topubchi O'zbekiston'', the Uzbekistan Union of Scout-Explorers, has issued insignia, considered to be a large step for nascent Scout organizations. Ulugh Beg
Mīrzā Muhammad Tāraghay bin Shāhrukh ( chg, میرزا محمد طارق بن شاہ رخ, fa, میرزا محمد تراغای بن شاہ رخ), better known as Ulugh Beg () (22 March 1394 – 27 October 1449), was a Timurid sultan, as well as an astronomer and mathematician. Bukhara
Bukhara (Uzbek language, Uzbek: /, ; tg, Бухоро, ) is the List of cities in Uzbekistan, seventh-largest city in Uzbekistan, with a population of 280,187 , and the capital of Bukhara Region. People have inhabited the region around Bukhara for at least five millennia, and the city has existed for half that time. Located on the Silk Road, the city has long served as a center of trade, scholarship, culture, and religion. Scouting In Turkmenistan
There is no formal Scouting organization yet in Turkmenistan, due to the Politics of Turkmenistan, political situation and because Turkmenistan refuses to join any organization because of its "status of Neutrality Arch, permanent neutrality," which was accepted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 12, 1995. The only widespread outreach activities for Turkmen children between ages 8-14 are 10 to 14 day Summer camp, camps that do not provide any educational components but organize some Culture of Turkmenistan, cultural events like concerts, poems and Competitive dance, dance competitions. Scouting In Kyrgyzstan
Scouting in Kyrgyzstan was founded in November 1994 and is not yet a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, but is working toward WOSM recognition. Kyrgyzstan has multiple Scout associations, several of which are members of ''Kyrgyz Respublikasynyn Skaut Kengesh'' (''Кыргыз Республикасынын Скаут Кеңеш''), the Kyrgyz Republic Scouting Union. Program and ideals The goals of the Kyrgyz Republic Scouting Union federation are the creation of a Scout movement with a uniquely Kyrgyz people, Kyrgyz character, guidelines for Scout membership and for training of leaders and application to the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Among the multiple organizations, some are separated by gender—some for boys, others for girls—while others are coeducational.
