The Scotland cricket team toured Hong Kong in January 2016. The tour consisted of a first-class match, two One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 International A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the ...s (T20I) match. The first-class match was part of the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup and the ODIs were part of the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. The ICC Intercontinental Cup match was abandoned without a ball bowled, due to a waterlogged pitch. The ODI was the first one to be played in Hong Kong, with Hong Kong beating Scotland by 109 runs. Tanwir Afzal (born 12 June 1988) is a Hong Kong cricketer. He played for Hong Kong in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. He made his One Day International debut against Afghanistan in the 2014 ACC Premier League on 1 May 2014. Aizaz Khan
Aizaz Mohammad Khan (born 21 March 1993) is a Hong Kong international cricketer. He debuted for the Hong Kong national side in 2009, and has since played regularly for the team. He is a graduate of Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College. Early career Having played age group cricket for Hong Kong Under-19s in the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, Aizaz made his World Cricket League debut for Hong Kong in the 2011 World Cricket League Division Three, where he helped Hong Kong earn promotion to that year's WCL Division Two. It was in this tournament that he made his List A debut, against Uganda. He played four further List A matches in the competition, the last coming against Namibia. James Atkinson (cricketer)
James John Atkinson (born August 1990) is an international cricketer who plays cricket for Hong Kong. He also captained the Hong Kong cricket team before stepping down in May 2015. A wicket-keeper, he has also represented Hong Kong at Under-19s level, and was selected as part of their squad for the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup. He was the first player (either male or female) born in the 1990s to play in ODI cricket as he made his debut at the age of 17 in 2008 against Pakistan during the 2008 Asia Cup. His father Steve played Minor Counties cricket. In 2014, Atkinson captained the Hong Kong team in their first global tournament, the World T20 in Bangladesh, defeating the hosts in their final match after two losses.
