Scott McNiven
Scott Andrew McNiven (born 27 May 1978) is an English-born Scottish footballer. He started his career at Oldham Athletic in 1995 before moving on to Oxford United in 2002. He jointly managed Hyde with Steve Halford at the end of the 2010–11 season, before returning a year later to take up the full manager's post. Career Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England,Played youth team football with Y.M.C.A of St Anne's and then he progressed through the youth ranks at Oldham Athletic in the Football League where he eventually went on to make 222 appearances, before leaving in 2002 after ten years at the club. He then joined Oxford United where he stayed for two years making 85 appearances, before in 2004, he left the club and went on to play for Mansfield Town and then Chester City, but he was released by Chester in 2006 and was unable to find a new club. Guiseley F
Guiseley ( ) is a town in metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is situated south of Otley and Menston and is now a north-western suburb of Leeds. It sits in the Guiseley and Rawdon ward of Leeds City Council and the Pudsey parliamentary constituency. At the 2001 census, Guiseley with Rawdon had a population of over 21,000, increasing to 22,347 at the 2011 Census. The A65, which passes through the town, is the main shopping street. Testicular Cancer
Testicular cancer is cancer that develops in the testicles, a part of the male reproductive system. Symptoms may include a lump in the testicle, or swelling or pain in the scrotum. Treatment may result in infertility. Risk factors include an undescended testis, family history of the disease, and previous history of testicular cancer. More than 95% are germ cell tumors which are divided into seminomas and nonseminomas. Other types include sex-cord stromal tumors and lymphomas. Diagnosis is typically based on a physical exam, ultrasound, and blood tests. Surgical removal of the testicle with examination under a microscope is then done to determine the type. Testicular cancer is highly treatable and usually curable. Treatment options may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or stem cell transplantation. David Scott McNiven (born 9 September 1955) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in Stonehouse, McNiven played for Leeds United, Bradford City, Blackpool, Pittsburgh Spirit, Halifax Town and Morecambe. McNiven signed for Bradford City in February 1978 from Leeds, leaving in February 1983 to join Blackpool. He scored 66 goals in 245 appearances for the club in all competitions - 64 goals in 212 league appearances, 2 goals in 11 FA Cup appearances, and no goals in 22 FL Trophy appearances. He made his debut for Blackpool in 1983, scoring the only goal in a victory over Rochdale at home. Neil Tolson (born 25 October 1973) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League as a striker. He later moved onto a coaching career with Hyde, Altrincham and Stalybridge Celtic. Career Born in Dudley, Worcestershire, Tolson began his career with Oldham Athletic. He later joined York City and was their top scorer for the 1996–97 season, with 17 goals in all competitions, including one as York beat Premier League side Everton 3–2 in the second round second leg of the League Cup.
