Scott Hardy (rugby League)
Scott Hardy is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s. He played for Western Suburbs in the NSWRL competition. Playing career Hardy made his first grade debut for Western Suburbs in round 20 of the 1992 NSWRL season against Canterbury-Bankstown. Hardy scored a try as Western Suburbs won the game 28-16 at Campbelltown Sports Stadium Campbelltown Sports Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Leumeah, New South Wales, Australia, owned by Campbelltown City Council. Formerly known as Orana Park and Campbelltown Sports Ground, it is currently the home ground of the Western Suburbs .... Hardy played three seasons for Western Suburbs in the NSWRL with his last game also coming against Canterbury which ended in a 40-12 loss. In 2021, a news article reported that Hardy was still playing active rugby league at the age of 50 in the local A-Grade competition. The Western Suburbs Magpies (legal name: Western Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club Ltd) are an Australian rugby league football club based in the western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales. Formed in 1908, Wests, as they are commonly referred to, were one of the nine foundation clubs of the first New South Wales Rugby League competition in Australia. The club, as a sole entity, departed the top-flight competition in 1999 after forming a 50–50 joint venture with Balmain Tigers to form the Wests Tigers. The club currently fields sides in the NSW State Cup (Canterbury Cup), Ron Massey Cup (Opens), S.G. Ball Cup (Under 18's) and Harold Matthews Cup (Under 16's) competitions. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Belmore, a suburb in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney. They compete in the NRL Telstra Premiership, as well as competitions facilitated by the New South Wales Rugby League, including the Canterbury Cup NSW, the Jersey Flegg Cup, Harvey Norman Women's Premiership, Tarsha Gale Cup, S. Campbelltown Sports Stadium
Campbelltown Sports Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Leumeah, New South Wales, Australia, owned by Campbelltown City Council. Formerly known as Orana Park and Campbelltown Sports Ground, it is currently the home ground of the Western Suburbs Magpies, Wests Tigers and Macarthur FC. The stadium has a nominal capacity of 17500, with a recorded highest crowd figure of 20,527 for a game between Wests Tigers and North Queensland Cowboys in the 2005 NRL season.
