Scott Grimes
Scott Christopher Grimes (born July 9, 1971) is an American actor and singer. Some of his most prominent roles include appearances in the 1984 cult classic ''The Night They Saved Christmas'', '' ER'' as Dr. Archie Morris, ''Party of Five'' as Will McCorkle, '' Band of Brothers'' as Technical Sergeant Donald Malarkey, and the animated sitcom ''American Dad!'', voicing Steve Smith. He is also well known by cult movie fans for his role as Bradley Brown in the first two '' Critters'' films. Since 2017, he has been a regular on the Fox/Hulu sci-fi comedy drama ''The Orville'' as Lieutenant Gordon Malloy. As a singer, Grimes is best known for co-writing and performing the soft rock single " Sunset Blvd", which spent several weeks on the ''Billboard'' charts, and for being one of the four singers in Russell Crowe's band Indoor Garden Party. San Diego Comic-Con International is a comic book convention and nonprofit multi-genre entertainment event held annually in San Diego, California since 1970. Donald Malarkey
Donald George Malarkey (July 31, 1921 – September 30, 2017) was a non-commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during World War II. Malarkey was portrayed in the HBO miniseries '' Band of Brothers'' by Scott Grimes. Early life Donald Malarkey was born in Astoria, Oregon, on July 31, 1921, to Leo and Helen (née Trask) Malarkey, married in 1918. He graduated from Astoria High School in 1939 and was of Irish descent. As a youth, he worked on a purse seiner crew on the Columbia River. He was a volunteer firefighter during the destructive Tillamook Burn forest fire, which destroyed thousands of acres of Oregon timber. "Sunset Blvd" is a song by Scott Grimes, which appears on his album, '' Livin' on the Run''. The single was written by Scott Grimes and Dave Harris and produced by Tom Fletcher. The song climbed into the Top 20 of ''Billboard''’s Adult Contemporary chart in April 2005. The song remained in the Top 20 for 10 weeks, peaking at #18. The Orville
