Scott Cardle
Scott Cardle (born 28 September 1989) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2012 to 2018. He held the British lightweight title from 2015 to 2016. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal in the welterweight division at the 2009 EU Championships. His elder brother, Joe, is a professional footballer. Paul Appleby (boxer)
Paul Appleby (born 22 July 1987) is a Scottish former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2014. He held the British featherweight title from 2008 to 2009 and once challenged for the Commonwealth super featherweight title in 2011. He is the youngest ever British featherweight champion. Professional career Appleby turned professional in January 2006 at the St. Andrew's Sporting Club, Glasgow, Scotland. In his debut Appleby defeated Blackburn's Graeme Higginson with a third round stoppage. Appleby defeated John Simpson on 6 June 2008 at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow to claim the British featherweight title. He successfully defended the title against Esham Pickering on 28 November 2008, winning by unanimous decision. Daniel "Maxi" Hughes (born 4 March 1990) is a British professional boxer who has held the IBO lightweight title since September 2021 and he had won the WBC International lightweight title in October 2020. At regional level, he won the British lightweight title in March 2021. Bolton
Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. Joe Gallagher (born in Manchester) is a former amateur boxer. He became an amateur boxing coach in 1993 before joining the professional ranks as a trainer in 2001. England Boxing, known until 2013 as the Amateur Boxing Association of England, is the governing body of amateur boxing clubs in England. There are separate organisations for Scotland and Wales with boxing in Northern Ireland being organised on an All-Ireland basis. The Association was founded in 1880.
