Scott Brownrigg
Scott Brownrigg (originally Scott Brownrigg & Turner) is a British architecture practice with nine offices in the UK and abroad, with staff of 280. It was founded in 1910 and is headquartered in London. Company The company was originally established by Annesley Harold Brownrigg in 1910. In 1918, after serving as a major in the Royal Garrison Artillery in World War I, Brownrigg's practice in Guildford grew with Leslie Hiscock. In 1935, following the death of Brownrigg, his son, John Brownrigg, took control with Hiscock. In 1946, Newman Turner joined John Brownrigg in 1948 and formed Brownrigg and Turner. In 1958, the practice merged with another Guildford practice Duncan Scott and created Scott Brownrigg and Turner. Scott Brownrigg continued to grow through acquisitions including the Scottish practice Keppie Henderson in 1989, Design Research Unit in 2004 and GMW Architects in 2015. Heathrow Terminal 4
Heathrow Terminal 4 is an airport terminal at Heathrow Airport, the main airport serving London, England, situated to the south of the southern runway, next to the cargo terminal. It is connected to Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 by the vehicular Heathrow Cargo Tunnel, and by rail with the Heathrow Terminal 4 tube and Heathrow Terminal 4 railway stations. Ice Arena Wales (IAW) ( cy, Canolfan Iâ Cymru) is an ice hockey rink in the Cardiff International Sports Village in Cardiff, Wales. It opened on 12 March 2016, and has two ice rinks and seating for 3,088 spectators. It is home to the Cardiff Devils ice hockey team, who play in the professional British Elite Ice Hockey League, which is the top tier of ice hockey in the UK. It replaced the Cardiff Arena, which was close to the current site. The Cardiff Arena (affectionately named the Big Blue Tent) was a temporary structure, built after the Wales National Ice Rink was demolished in September 2006. The International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) ( cy, Canolfan Gynadledda Rhyngwladol Cymru) is a 5,000-capacity venue in the city of Newport, South Wales. The venue has a main auditorium with fixed seating for 1,500 delegates, six rooms of exhibition space, and of pillar-free space. Royal Garrison Artillery
The Royal Garrison Artillery (RGA) was formed in 1899 as a distinct arm of the British Army's Royal Regiment of Artillery serving alongside the other two arms of the Regiment, the Royal Field Artillery (RFA) and the Royal Horse Artillery (RHA). The RGA were the 'technical' branch of the Royal Artillery who were responsible for much of the professionalisation of technical gunnery that was to occur during the First World War. It was originally established to man the guns of the British Empire's forts and fortresses, including coastal artillery batteries, the heavy gun batteries attached to each infantry division and the guns of the siege artillery. White City Place is the name given to the collection of buildings formerly known as BBC Media Village (more commonly simply as White City or W12 within the BBC). White City Place is a collection of six buildings occupying a 17-acre site off Wood Lane, White City in West London (W12), bordered by South Africa Road, Dorando Close and the A40 Westway. The site is a short distance along Wood Lane from the former BBC Television Centre. All formerly properties of the BBC, only two buildings – Broadcast Centre and the Lighthouse – are currently occupied by BBC staff.
