Scooch Pooch Records
Scooch is a British pop group, comprising performers Natalie Powers, Caroline Barnes, David Ducasse and Russ Spencer. Scooch represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki with their song " Flying the Flag (For You)", finishing joint 22nd out of 24 entries after receiving 19 points in the final. The song reached number 5 in the UK Top 40 Singles Chart on 13 May 2007 after having been available for download for two months before that. Formation Auditions for an "all-singing, all-dancing pop group" were held between autumn 1997 and spring 1998 in front of the songwriters and producers Mike Stock and Matt Aitken and future manager Steve Crosby. Heidi Range auditioned for the group but was declined after it was revealed she was only 14 years old. The final foursome was formed in October 1998. Hartwall Arena
Helsinki Halli (formerly Hartwall Arena) is a large multi-functional indoor arena located in Helsinki, Finland. It was opened in April 1997. The arena is convertible for various events. The total seated capacity during ice hockey games is 13,349 (about 14,000 for basketball, for concerts up to 15,000) and as an amphitheatre, it is significantly reduced to between 3,000 to 5,000. The Russian-owned arena has been unused since March 2022 due to EU sanctions related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The main sponsor, Hartwall, also ended its sponsorship and the arena's name was changed. Construction and facilities The initiative for building the arena came from Harry "Hjallis" Harkimo in 1994. ''Make Your Play'' was a live, interactive quiz show, showing in the UK on the ITV Network, from Monday to Saturday, beginning after midnight. The show was launched on Friday 29 September 2006 on ITV and ITV Play. The prizes were greater than usually available on ITV Play (often exceeding £20,000), but as a result of this, callers are usually taken less often. In order to win money, viewers had to either call in at a cost of 75p from a BT landline, or enter through the ITV website. If they were successful, they would have been placed on hold, then transferred live to the studio if they was lucky, where they then went on to deliver their answer. ''Make Your Play'' had given over £3 million. It went over the £3 million mark on 1 July 2007, when a contestant by the name of Mr Joseph Percy said "next day". E4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation. The "E" stands for ''entertainment'' and the channel is primarily aimed at the 16/18–34 age group (similar to BBC Three, ITV2, 5Star, Sky Max, Sky Comedy, Comedy Central and Dave). G-A-Y
G-A-Y is a long-running gay nightclub, based at Heaven in Charing Cross, London. It started in 1976, and for many years was based at the London Astoria. History G-A-Y started in 1976 in the Sundown club in the basement of the London Astoria (later LA2) as a Monday night event called ''Bang!''. It was started by club promoters Norman Scott, Damien Tony and Jerry Collins, who worked as a DJ under the name Gary London. During the 1980s, ''Bang!'' (which had by then also expanded to Saturday night) and ''Propaganda'' (Thursday night) were run by gay club promoter and DJ Colin Peters (Peter Daubeney), whose brother Jamie continued as promoter for a period following his death. In the early 1990s, ''Bang!'' was acquired by DJ and promoter Jeremy Joseph, formerly employed by Peters, who oversaw its change of name to ''G-A-Y''. For Sure (Scooch Song)
"For Sure" is a pop song written by Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Steve Crosby and performed by British musical group Scooch. With production helmed by Stock and Aitken, "For Sure" was released on 24 July 2000 as the fourth single from Scooch's 2000 debut album, ''Four Sure'', which was issued two weeks later. Caroline Barnes performs lead vocals on the song, describing how she communicates with her love interest during each day of the week except Sunday. ''DDRMAX Dance Dance Revolution 6thMix'' is the 6th game in the '' Dance Dance Revolution'' series of music video games. It was released in the arcades by '' Konami'' on October 19, 2001, and for the PlayStation 2 on May 16, 2002, in Japan. ''6thMix'' contains a total of 42 songs, all which made their first arcade appearance on this release. 11 of these songs debuted in various console releases prior to ''6thMix''. Five (stylised as 5ive) are a British boy band from London consisting of members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, and Scott Robinson. They were formed in 1997 by the same team that managed the Spice Girls before they launched their career. The group were mostly known as a five-piece, consisting of Robinson, Neville, Conlon, Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown. Five enjoyed moderate success worldwide, particularly in their native United Kingdom, as well as most of the rest of Europe and Asia. "More Than I Needed to Know" is a song by British pop group Scooch. The song was written by Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Steve Crosby and was produced by the former two. The song was released on 10 January 2000 as the group's second single from their debut album, ''Four Sure'' (2000), and reached number five on the UK Singles Chart the same month, becoming the band's highest-charting single in their home country. It also reached number 50 in Ireland and number 62 in the Netherlands. A music video made for the song features the four band members searching for pieces of their logo. Critical reception ''Music Week'' referred to "More Than I Needed to Know" as a "bright and breezy pop tune". B*Witched
B*Witched are an Irish girl group consisting of twin sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O'Carroll. Originally active between 1997 and 2002, they enjoyed success in both Europe and North America between 1998 and 2002, releasing two albums and eight singles, all of which made the UK Top 20. Their first four singles, "C'est la Vie", "Rollercoaster", " To You I Belong" and "Blame It on the Weatherman", all reached number one in the UK Singles Chart.
