Sci Fi Investigates
''Sci Fi Investigates'' is a six episode reality television series featuring skeptic Rob Mariano, forensic specialist Deborah Dobrydney, archaeologist Bill Doleman, and paranormal investigator Richard Dolan, as they look at paranormal and supernatural phenomenon and try to explain them. The show debuted in October 2006 on the American SyFy channel following '' Ghost Hunters''. There have also been two webisodes. Episode format The series documents a team of four paranormal investigators who travel to various locations around the United States and investigate various urban legends. The team uses various research methods to gather as much information as they can about the particular legend or phenomena an episode focuses on. Ghost hunting is the process of investigating locations that are reported to be haunted by ghosts. Typically, a ghost-hunting team will attempt to collect evidence supporting the existence of paranormal activity. Ghost hunters use a variety of electronic devices, including EMF meters, digital thermometers, both handheld and static digital video cameras, including thermographic and night vision cameras, night vision goggles, as well as digital audio recorders. Other more traditional techniques are also used, such as conducting interviews and researching the history of allegedly haunted sites. Ghost hunters may also refer to themselves as "paranormal investigators." Ghost hunting has been heavily criticized for its dismissal of the scientific method. The Amazing Race (American TV Series)
''The Amazing Race'' is an American adventure reality game show in which 11 or 12 teams of two race around the world (except the Family edition which featured 10 teams of four and was contested entirely within North and Central America). Marquesas

An adventure is an exciting experience or undertaking that is typically bold, sometimes risky.
