Albrecht Schöne
Albrecht Schöne (born 17 July 1925) is a German Germanist. From 1960 to 1990 he was a professor of German philology at the University of Göttingen. Career Schöne was born on 17 July 1925 in Barby an der Elbe. After graduating from secondary school he immediately performed his military service. During World War II he was made prisoner of war. Schöne subsequently worked as a lumberjack until 1947. From 1947 to 1951 he studied German literature, history, philosophy, theology and psychiatry at the universities of Freiburg, Basel, Göttingen and Münster. In 1952 Schöne took his Ph.D. from the University of Münster. In 1953 he took a position as research assistant at the Department of German Philology at the University of Göttingen. He performed his habilitation in 1957. In 1958 he became associate professor of modern German philology at the University of Münster. In 1960 he became full professor of German philology. Lasse Schöne (; born 27 May 1986) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or winger for Eredivisie club NEC and the Denmark national team. He is known for his set piece abilities. Schöne spent his entire professional career in the Netherlands, with Heerenveen, De Graafschap, NEC and Ajax, before moving to Genoa in Italy in 2019. Lotte Schöne, ''née'' Charlotte Bodenstein (December 15, 1891 – December 22, 1977) was an Austrian soprano. Born in Vienna, Schöne studied music in that city and made her debut in 1912 at the Vienna Volksoper as a bridesmaid in ''Der Freischütz''. From 1917 until 1925 she was on the roster of the Vienna State Opera where she sang all the major light lyric parts. Between 1922 and 1934 she was also a regular at the Salzburg Festival, singing Zerlina, Blonde, and Despina. From 1925 to 1933 she also sang regularly at the Berlin State Opera in roles such as Manon, Mimi, and Cio-Cio-San. For London she created Liù in 1927, her only season at the Royal Opera House. Richard Schöne (5 February 1840, in Dresden – 5 March 1922, in Berlin-Grunewald) was a German archaeologist and classical philologist. He studied classical philology and archaeology at the University of Leipzig, receiving his doctorate in 1861 with a dissertation on Plato's '' Protagoras''.
