Schytts Songs
Schytts is a Swedish dansband, established in 1962 as Public Killers before changing their name the upcoming year. The name Schytts was taken from their founding drummer Yngve Schytt. Their major breakthrough came in 1973, with the song "Aj, aj, aj", which appeared on their debut studio album ''Hålligång 1'', released the same year. Jitterbug and foxtrot music are often included in this category. The music is primarily inspired by swing, schlager, country, jazz, and rock. The main influence for rock-oriented bands is the rock music of the 1950s and 1960s. The terms ' and ' were coined around 1970, when Swedish popular music developed a signature style. Aj, Aj, Aj
"Aj, aj, aj" or ''"Aj, aj, aj (det bultar och det bankar)"'' is a song written by Rune Wallebom, and originally recorded by Schytts who scored a Svensktoppen hit between the period of 9 September-9 December 1973. The song topped the chart. It was also recorded by Matz Bladhs and Roosarna. The song's lyrics describe a love meeting during a party where the I person soon learns the you person is already married and has children, and describes his/her own feelings. When Schytts recorded the song in 1976 on the album ''Änglalåtar'' Gert Lengstrand had written new lyrics, ''Aj, aj, aj (det rasslar uti nätet)'', turning it into a soccer song. At Dansbandskampen 2008 the song was performed by Jonas Näslund and Jive. However, not live over Sveriges Television since the band was already knocked out in the previous moment, "Dansbandsklassikern". "Another Town, Another Train" was a song recorded by Sweden, Swedish pop music, pop group ABBA at KMH Studios. The song was released as a 7" vinyl single in Japan in March 1973 to promote the group's debut album ''Ring Ring (album), Ring Ring''; the single was also released with the same B-side ("People Need Love") in Venezuela. En spännande dag för Josefine is a song written by Benny Borg, and recorded by Schytts, using it as a B-side for their 1974 single "Hasta la vista " and also charted at Svensktoppen for one weeks, at 9th position, on 20 October 1974. Vi gör så gott vi kan is a song written by Lasse Holm and Gert Lengstrand as a fight song for the Sweden national football team for the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina.
