Scappoose is a city in Columbia County, Oregon, United States. It was named for a nearby stream, which drains the southern part of the county. David Mayo (born August 18, 1993) is an American football linebacker for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas State and was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Derek Matthew Anderson (born June 15, 1983) is a former quarterback who played 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oregon State.
