Scantraxx Special is a sublabel of Dutch record label Scantraxx. Scantraxx Silver was one of the earlier Scantraxx sub-labels, founded it 2004. Dov Elkabas
Dov Joseph Elkabas (born 5 November 1968), known professionally as DJ The Prophet, is an Israeli-Dutch hardcore techno and hardstyle DJ and producer. The Prophet is also the owner of one of the largest hardstyle record labels, Scantraxx. Biography The Prophet started his career as a DJ in 1983 after he discovered turntables at a disco in Amsterdam. He was working in a hotel at the time, and performing as DJ on the side. He was asked to choose, and made the choice to DJ full-time. He started spinning hip hop music before a switch to house in 1988. About three years later, he set up a team of DJs known as "The Dreamteam", together with DJ Dano, Buzz Fuzz and Gizmo. The team was a huge success in the gabber scene. Later, The Prophet switched from hardcore to hardstyle because he did not like the fact that the hardcore community wanted the music to become 'harder'. He is famous both as a DJ and as a producer. Scantraxx is a Dutch record label founded by Dov Elkabas in 2002, specializing in Hardstyle music. S.W.A.T Between November 2007 and April 2008, the label organized a number of shows under the name of ''S.W.A.T'' (Scantraxx World Artist Tour) in Europe and Australia. Those events were repeated in 2009 and 2010, but only in Europe. Hardstyle
Hardstyle is an electronic dance genre that emerged in the late 1990s, with origins in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. Hardstyle mixes influences from techno, new beat and hardcore. Early hardstyle was typically written at 140 BPM (''beats per minute''), however modern hardstyle is faster, produced around 150 BPM. It consisted of overdriven and hard-sounding kick drums, often accompanied by an offbeat bass, known as a "reverse bass". As the genre grew, the production techniques and songwriting changed to be suited to a more commercial audience. Modern hardstyle can be recognized by its use of synthesizer melodies and distorted sounds, coupled with hardstyle's signature combination of percussion and bass. The genre is particularly known for its harmonic use of kickdrums. Due to the sustained nature of a hardstyle kick, producers are able to play basslines by using only the kick itself, which becomes a distinct bass tone through a series of distortion, equalization and laye ... Headhunterz
Willem Rebergen (born 12 September 1985), better known by his stage name ''Headhunterz'', is a Dutch DJ and music producer. Rebergen is also a voice actor. Headhunterz has performed at Qlimax, Defqon.1, Q-Base, In Qontrol, Decibel, Hard Bass, Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland. Headhunterz released his work on Scantraxx through his own sub-label, Scantraxx Reloaded, but in 2013 he started his own record label, "HARD with STYLE". He signed with the North American electronic dance record label Ultra Music in 2013 and left his own label in 2015. Since June 2017, he officially returned to the Hardstyle community at the closing ceremony of ''Defqon.1 Weekend Festival 2017''.
