Sawa is a village development committee in the Himalayas of Taplejung District in the Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal. Sawa Station (Nagano)
is a railway station on the Iida Line in the town of Minowa, Kamiina District, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central). Lines Sawa Station is served by the Iida Line and is 189.7 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Toyohashi Station. Station layout The station consists of one ground-level side platform serving a single bi-directional track. There is no station building, but only a shelter built on top of the platform. The station is unattended. Adjacent stations History Sawa Station opened on 16 March 1923. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR Central. The current station building was completed in 1996. Kite (1998 Film)
''Kite'', known as in Japan, is a Japanese original video animation written and directed by Yasuomi Umetsu. Two 35-minute episodes were released on VHS on February 25 and October 25, 1998, respectively. However, subsequent releases, including all three DVD releases in the United States, have edited the OVA into a film. Plot ''Kite'' revolves around a schoolgirl named Sawa who is orphaned in her early teens. Her parents are the victims of a gory double murder. When the film opens, Sawa is on a date with a celebrity, but he begins yelling at an old lady, who had rebuked him for promiscuous ways, being on a date with such a young girl. Sawa kills him, and the old lady dies of a heart attack sometime later, after feeling around for her glasses in the bloody aftermath. Radio Sawa ( ar, راديو سوا) is a Middle Eastern radio station broadcasting in the Arab world. The station is a service of the Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc., which also operates Alhurra Television and is publicly funded by the U.S. Agency for Global Media and the U.S. Congress. The word "sawa" (, ) means "together" in many Arabic dialects. Preexisting attitudes and concurrent reality of opinions towards the United States led to the creation of Radio Sawa. The SAWA Defence Training Center is a military academy in the Gash-Barka region of Eritrea. It is where the Eritrean Defence Forces (EDF) recruits and national service conscripts are sent for basic military training.
