The Satsalla River is a river in the Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains in British Columbia, Canada, flowing southwest into the Kingcome River. Like the Atlatzi River, another major tributary of the Kingcome farther south, its origins are on the edge of the Ha-Iltzuk Icefield. Coast Mountains
The Coast Mountains (french: La chaîne Côtière) are a major mountain range in the Pacific Coast Ranges of western North America, extending from southwestern Yukon through the Alaska Panhandle and virtually all of the Coast of British Columbia south to the Fraser River. The mountain range's name derives from its proximity to the sea coast, and it is often referred to as the Coast Range. Ha-Iltzuk Icefield
The Ha-Iltzuk Icefield is an icefield in the central Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. It is the largest icefield in the Coast Mountains south of the Alaska Panhandle, with an area of . It is located on the west side of the Klinaklini River and the Waddington Range. The highest summit in the icefield is Mount Silverthrone, which is a mountain on the northeast edge of a circular, wide, deeply dissected caldera complex called the Silverthrone Caldera. The southern half of the icefield is named the Silverthrone Glacier and flows west, joining the Klinaklini Glacier just above that glacier's terminus, where its outflow is short but very large, and joins the Klinaklini River within a few kilometres.
