Saskia Alusalu
Saskia Alusalu (born 14 April 1994) is an Estonian speed skater. Alusalu represented Estonia at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. In the 2017/18 World Cup in Calgary, Alusalu achieved by far her best World Cup result to date when she placed fourth in the mass start. She attacked early and broke away from the field until three other athletes around the eventual winner Claudia Pechstein caught up with her and finally overtook her. Alusalu was Estonias's flag bearer at the 2018 Winter Olympics. She holds several national records. In August 2021, despite already training for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, she announced that she was ending her career as a speed skater because she wanted to focus more on her personal life and felt she could no longer handle the physical stresses. Kelly Sildaru
Kelly Sildaru (; born 17 February 2002) is an Estonian Olympic freestyle skier. Biography Sildaru won a gold medal in the slopestyle event in the 2016 Winter X Games beating Tiril Sjåstad Christiansen. With this win, at age 13, Sildaru became the youngest gold medalist to date at a Winter X Games event and the first person to win a Winter X Games medal for Estonia. She is also the youngest to win two X Games gold medals. Sildaru has won the women's slopestyle on the 2015 and 2016 Dew Tour. During the Big Air competition of the 2017 Winter X Games Norway, Sildaru became the first woman ever to land a Switch 1260 ° Mute and a 1440° during a competition. Julia Beljajeva (born 21 July 1992) is an Estonian right-handed épée fencer. Beljajeva is a two-time team European champion, 2017 team world champion, and 2013 individual world champion. A two-time Olympian, Beljajeva is a 2021 team Olympic champion. Beljajeva competed in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Career Beljajeva took up fencing when she was ten years old at the suggestion of her aunt.
