Anas Sarwar
Anas Sarwar (born 14 March 1983) is a Scottish politician who has served as Leader of the Scottish Labour Party since 2021. He has been a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Glasgow region since 2016, having been Member of Parliament (MP) for Glasgow Central from 2010 to 2015. Born in Glasgow to Pakistani Muslim parents, Sarwar was privately educated at the independent Hutchesons' Grammar School and studied general dentistry at the University of Glasgow. He worked in Paisley as a dentist until being elected as Member of Parliament for Glasgow Central at the 2010 general election when he succeeded his retiring father, Mohammad Sarwar. Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar ( ur, ) is a Pakistani and former British politician who served as the 31st and 33rd Governor of Punjab, from 2013 to 2015 and from 2018 to 2022. In his first term, he represented the Pakistan Muslim League (N). In his second term, he represented the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Golam Sarwar (1 April 1943 – 13 August 2018) was a Bangladeshi journalist and writer. He served as the founding editor of ''Samakal'' and ''Jugantor''. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Khan ( ur, چوہدری محمد سرور خان; 1919–2003); was the longest serving Parliamentarian in the history of Pakistan. Adnan Sarwar is a Pakistani actor, director, musician, screenwriter, producer, lyricist, doctor and racing driver. He made his film debut in the biopic ''Shah'', in which he also played the leading role.
