Sarver, Pennsylvania
Sarver is an unincorporated community in Buffalo Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. It is located in the south-eastern part of the county. Sarver is generally known as most of the area near and west/southwest of State Route 356 (Butler Road/South Pike Road/North Pike Road) in the township. Until around the late 1990s- early 2000s, Sarver was home to only a few residents. Its economy was very small and was based solely on a grocery store, a few small restaurants, along with a few gas stations and car dealerships. It has since grown to hold many new medium to high income housing plans, with the addition of many new shopping centers and businesses. The ZIP code is 16055. Many of Sarver's school-age residents attend the Freeport Area School District. Buffalo Township is a township in Butler County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 7,307 at the 2010 census. Geography Buffalo Township occupies the southeastern corner of Butler County. It is bordered to the west by Clinton Township, at its northwest corner by Jefferson Township, and to the north by Winfield Township. To the east are South Buffalo Township and the borough of Freeport in Armstrong County. To the south are Harrison and Fawn townships in Allegheny County. The southeast corner of Buffalo Township just touches the Allegheny River at the mouth of Buffalo Creek with Allegheny Township in Westmoreland County on the other side. Butler County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is part of Western Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 193,763. Its county seat is Butler. Michele Marlene McDonald-Boeke ( née McDonald; June 26, 1952 – January 23, 2020) was an American model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss USA 1971. As Miss USA, she represented the United States at Miss Universe 1971, where she placed in the top twelve.
