Sari-Sari Channel
Sari-Sari Channel is a 24-hour general entertainment channel under a joint-venture between Cignal TV and Viva Communications. Named after the Philippine Sari-sari store, it offers a smorgasbord of shows from the portfolios of Viva TV and TV5. The channel's content include archive shows and movies from Viva Television and Viva Films, original movies from Studio5, the film production arm of TV5 Network and in-house original productions in partnership of the latter's talents. In 2015, Sari-Sari Channel was delegated as the official production outfit to handle all entertainment programs of TV5 after Viva Communications chief Vicente "Vic" del Rosario, Jr. was appointed as the network's entertainment head, replacing Wilma Galvante, following the retrenchment on TV5's main entertainment department. Weather Information Network was a Filipino weather and public information satellite television channel based in Makati. It is owned and operated by MediaQuest Holdings, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the PLDT Beneficial Trust Fund through TV5. With partnership of New Zealand-based Metra Weather, the channel will bring projected storm tracks, wind direction, rain volume, water conditions, regional and provincial weather, and seven-day forecasts as well as other information related to weather. ''Midnight DJ'' is a Filipino language, Filipino reality drama-Horror fiction, horror-Action fiction, action-thriller television series about DJ who works at night and at the same time, together with his team, they work to find solutions to the paranormal problems of his listeners. Wilma Galvante
Wilma Valle Galvante is the former head of TV5's entertainment division and former GMA Network's senior vice president for entertainment; she is also a producer of numerous TV shows. As the chief of the GMA Network's entertainment block, she experimented with dramas and light-hearted shows and hired writers. Viva Films is a Philippine film production company established under Viva Communications. It was founded on November 11, 1981, by Vic del Rosario Jr. History Veering away from the Sharon Cuneta-Gabby Concepcion tandem, Viva became home to quality dramatic films. A sari-sari store, anglicized as neighborhood sundry store, is a convenience store found in the Philippines. The word ''sari-sari'' is Tagalog meaning "variety" or "sundry". Such stores occupy an important economic and social location in a Filipino community and are ubiquitous in neighborhoods and along streets. Sari-sari stores tend to be family-run and privately owned operating within the shopkeeper's residence. Commodities are displayed in a large screen-covered or metal-barred window in front of the shop. Candies in recycled jars, canned goods and cigarettes are displayed while cooking oil, salt and sugar are stored at the back of the shop. Prepaid mobile phone credits are provided. The sari-sari store operates with a small revolving fund, and it generally does not offer perishable goods requiring refrigeration. Viva Cinema (formerly Viva TV) is a Philippine entertainment television channel owned by Viva Communications, available on satellite and cable TV providers. K Movies Pinoy was a Filipino cable channel owned by Viva Entertainment. It broadcasts Filipino-dubbed Korean films 24/7.
