Datuk Ali anak Biju (born 27 January 1968) is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Minister Takiyuddin Hassan from August 2021 to November 2022. He served his first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former Minister Shamsul Anuar Nasarah from March 2020 to August 2021. Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB; en, United Bumiputera Heritage Party) is a right-wing political party in Malaysia. It is currently the largest political party in Sarawak. Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu was formed from the combination of three parties in Sarawak; Parti Negara Sarawak, Barisan Rakyat Jati Sarawak and Parti Pesaka Anak Sarawak. The Sarawak People's Energy Party ( ms, Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak, abbreviated TERAS) was a political party in Malaysia. It is among the 20 new parties to have their registration approved by the Registrar of Societies (RoS) and received permission to operate as a political party in 2013. At its inception, TERAS was a splinter party of Barisan Nasional (BN), Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP), set-up by its disgruntled leaders led by William Mawan Ikom and was pro-BN following a leadership crisis in the party and also some elected members from Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP). The 12th Malaysian Parliament is the last meeting of the legislative branch of the government of Malaysia, the Parliament, comprising the directly elected lower house, the ''Dewan Rakyat'', and the appointed upper house, the ''Dewan Negara''. The Progressive Democratic Party (Malay: Parti Demokratik Progresif, Abbreviation: PDP), formerly known as Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party is a Sarawak based political party in Malaysia founded in 2002. The party was founded in the wake of the de-registration of the Sarawak National Party in November 2002 by a faction aligned to the Chief Minister of Sarawak, Abdul Taib Mahmud, led by William Mawan Ikom.
