Sarah Reed (footballer)
Sarah Reed (born 12 May 1980) is a former England women's international footballer. Her greatest achievement was playing in the winning games of the 1998 FA Women's Cup Final and 1999 FA Women's Cup Final with Arsenal. Club career Reed was an unused substitute for Wembley when they won the 1995–96 FA Women's Premier League Cup final, beating Doncaster Belles on penalties at Underhill Stadium. International career Reed won three caps for England, at a time when she was an understudy to Pauline Cope. She was called up for the first time by Ted Copeland as a 16-year-old Wembley player for a UEFA Women's Euro 1997 qualifying fixture against Portugal at Griffin Park on 19 May 1996. Ted Copeland
Ted Copeland is an English former football coach. He managed the England women's side between 1993 and 1998, leading them to a quarter-final appearance in the 1995 World Cup. Copeland spent 12 years working as a lecturer in physical education at the University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. While in Saudi Arabia, he also played for and coached Ettifaq FC in the Saudi Premier League and coached the Saudi Under-16 and Under-19 National Teams. He had a spell with Hartlepool United where he was first-team coach. In 1990, Copeland became the Football Association's Regional Director of Coaching for the North of England. In 1993, he added the part-time role of England women's coach to his duties and remained in both posts until 1998. The Women's FA Challenge Cup Competition is the top annual cup tournament for women's clubs in English football. Founded in 1970, it has been named the WFA Cup, FA Women's Cup and now Women's FA Cup (Vitality Women's FA Cup for sponsorship reasons). Designed as an equivalent to the FA Cup in men's football, the competition began in 1970–71 as the Mitre Challenge Trophy, organised by the Women's Football Association (WFA). The Italy women's national football team () has represented Italy in international women's football since their inception in 1968. The team is controlled by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the governing body for football in Italy. Rachel Brown
Rachel Brown (born 2 July 1980) is an English former football goalkeeper who played for Liverpool from 1995 to 1998 and Everton from 2003 until 2014. A product of the American college system, Brown spent five years playing varsity soccer for Alabama Crimson Tide and Pittsburgh Panthers. She also spent the 2003 season on loan in the Icelandic Úrvalsdeild, playing for ÍBV. Since making her debut for the England women's national football team in 1997, Brown won over 80 caps. She understudied Pauline Cope in her first years with the national team, then served as England's first choice goalkeeper at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup and UEFA Women's Euro 2009.
