Connecticut
Connecticut () is the southernmost state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south. Its capital is Hartford and its most populous city is Bridgeport. House of Lords is an American rock band based out of Connecticut, with members in New Jersey and Florida. History House of Lords was formed in 1987 by former Angel member and keyboardist Gregg Giuffria following his solo project Giuffria. After listening to demos – originally intended for Giuffria's third record – a record deal with Gene Simmons' company Simmons Records was agreed upon, on two conditions: to change the band's name (to House of Lords) and to recruiter a new lead singer (firing David Glen Eisley in the process). James Christian replaced Eisley. Christian was suggested by ex-Giuffria and Quiet Riot bassist Chuck Wright, after having worked together in L.A. Rocks. House of Lords' eponymous debut was released in 1988, featuring a heavier sound than Giuffria’s and less prominent keyboards. Jive Records was an American independent record label founded by Clive Calder in 1981 as a subsidiary to the Zomba Group. In the US, the label had offices in New York City and Chicago. Sita Maria Vermeulen (born 8 June 1980), known by the mononym Sita, is a Dutch pop singer, actress and tv personality. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as part of the pop group K-otic. Julie Ivalo Broberg Berthelsen also known by her mononym Julie (born 7 June 1979) is a Danish-born Greenlandic pop singer and songwriter. She is known largely for her success on the TV series '' Popstars''. Although she finished in second place, she has become more popular and successful than the first-place winner. Myriam Morea also known as Myriam Abel (born Myriam Abdel Hamid, 15 May 1981 in Saint-Gratien, France) is a French singer of Algerian descent who rose to popularity after winning '' Nouvelle Star 3'', the French version of ''Pop Idol'', shown by M6. Sam Bisbee is an American independent film producer and composer. He is a co-winner of the Primetime Emmy Award for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking in 2019, and in 2021 was nominated for a Peabody Award. Biography Bisbee graduated from Columbia University in 1990. After graduating from college, he worked as a songwriter, composer, and music producer. Bisbee has composed scores for movies, including the 2000 film ''Wildflowers'' and signed a publishing deal with Nettwerk in 2008.
