Sandweiler-Contern Railway Station
Sandweiler-Contern railway station ( lb, Gare Sandweiler-Conter, french: Gare de Sandweiler-Contern, german: Bahnhof Sandweiler-Contern) is a railway station serving the towns of Contern and Sandweiler, in southern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The Railway station was in the commune of Hesperange but in the December 2015 the station was rebuilt closer to the main road connecting Contern and Sandweiler and the Industrial zone between them where the station is located. The new station is in the commune of contern but within a few hundred metres from the border with both the communes of Hesperange and Sandweiler and the old station. The Old Station building and one of the platforms are still visible from beside the railways line. Koblenz Hauptbahnhof
Koblenz Hauptbahnhof is a railway station in the city of Koblenz in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is the focal point of rail transport in the Rhine-Moselle-Lahn area. It is a through station in southern Koblenz built below Fort Großfürst Konstantin and opened in 1902 in the Neustadt (new city), which was built after the demolition of the city walls in 1890. The station replaced two former stations on the Left Rhine railway, which were only 900 m apart, and the former Moselle line station. Koblenz-Stadtmitte station opened in April 2011 in the old centre of Koblenz. Trier Hauptbahnhof is a railway station for the city of Trier, in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is a through station, about east of the inner city and the Porta Nigra. History The station was opened in together with the rest of the Moselle line, which formed part of the Kanonenbahn ( en, Cannons Railway) (Berlin–Metz). Earlier, upon the opening of the Saar route in 1860, Trier had acquired a station on the left bank of the Moselle, the present day Trier-West station, which, in 1871, had also been linked with Cologne via the Eifel Railway. Wittlich Hauptbahnhof
Wittlich Hauptbahnhof is a railway station for the town of Wittlich in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate and is on the Koblenz–Trier line (Moselle line). Until the closure of the Wengerohr–Daun and Wengerohr–Bernkastel-Kues lines, it was a junction station and a regional rail node. Today it is the only station in Wittlich. The station is located in the district of Wengerohr and the station was called Wengerohr station until 27 September 1987. The station has only five pairs of InterCity trains and one pair of Intercity-Express trains each day and is one of the smallest long-distance stations in Germany. Trier ( , ; lb, Tréier ), formerly known in English as Trèves ( ;) and Triers (see also names in other languages), is a city on the banks of the Moselle in Germany. It lies in a valley between low vine-covered hills of red sandstone in the west of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, near the border with Luxembourg and within the important Moselle wine region. Hesperange (; lb, Hesper ; german: Hesperingen) is a commune and town in southern Luxembourg. It is located south-east of Luxembourg City. The total population of the commune is 14.701 people. This breaks down into 6.909 Luxembourgers, 2.021 French, 1.758 Portuguese, 1.052 Italians, 627 Belgians, 514 Germans, 241 Spanish, 207 British, 190 Polish, 106 Dutch, and 1.076 persons of other nationalities. Chemins De Fer Luxembourgeois
The Chemins Company is a dietary supplement manufacturer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The company, founded in 1974 by James Cameron, became embroiled in a series of criminal investigations in 1994 after a woman died and more than 100 other people became ill after taking one of the company’s products marketed under the brand name Nature's Nutrition Formula One. The adverse events were later linked to the product having been tainted with ephedrine. A three-year federal investigation, which revealed that the company had doctored records, misled FDA investigators, and purposely hindered inspections, led to Cameron being sentenced to 21 months in prison and him and the company being fined $4.7 million .
