Sandai
''Sandai'' () is a 2008 Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. The film stars Sundar C, Nadhiya, Namitha and Ramya Raj, while Vivek, Lalu Alex, and Mithun Tejasvi, among others, play supporting roles. The music was composed by Dhina with cinematography done by K. S. Selva Raj and editing by G. Sasikumar. The film was released on 21 March 2008. Cast Production It was announced in 2007 that Sundar C. will team up with Sakthi Chidambaram for an action comedy film. During the launch, the film was initially titled as ''Porukki'', however as the title was said to be derogatory, the titles like ''Adhirudhula'' and ''Mahamagam'' were considered before the team preferred to name the film as ''Sandai''. Thalapathy Dinesh (also spelled Thalapathi Dinesh) is an Indian action choreographer who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He started his career in the cinema as an extra fighter in '' Naan Sigappu Manithan'' and later he became as a stunt master and actor. Vinayagar Sundar Vel (born 21 January 1966), known professionally as Sundar C., is an Indian film director, actor and producer. He has directed over 34 films in Tamil language, Tamil and acted in 17 movies as the protagonist. Sakthi N Chidambaram (born Dinakar), is an Indian film director, who directs Tamil films. Career His real name is C. Dhinakaran. He first wrote the dialogues for the films ''Kottai Vaasal'' (1992), '' Veettai Paaru Naattai Paaru'' (1994), ''Uzhiyan'' (1994) and '' Pathavi Pramanam'' (1994). Chidambaram made his directorial debut in 1997 with '' Samrat'', starring Ramki, a remake of Hindi film '' Baazigar''. In 1998, he directed the film '' Vettu Onnu Thundu Rendu'', starring Mansoor Ali Khan in the lead role. Both films were failures. ''Kannum Kannum'' () is a 2008 Tamil language film directed by G. Marimuthu, who also wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues. Paravai Muniyamma (25 June 1937 – 29 March 2020) was an Indian folk singer and actress. She got the adjective Paravai as she was born in a village called Paravai in Madurai.
