San Diego Barracudas
The San Diego Barracudas were a southern Californian professional inline hockey team which existed from 1993 through 1996. The Barracudas were a part of Roller Hockey International. The team's home games were played at the San Diego Sports Arena. They relocated to Ontario, California in the 1998 and 1999 seasons, known as the Ontario Barracudas to replace the Palm Desert/ Ontario Silvercats (to also represented Palm Springs, California). The Los Angeles Blades were a professional inline hockey team based in Los Angeles, California. The Blades played in Roller Hockey International from 1993–1997 and played their home games at the Great Western Forum. Two other franchises have used the name Los Angeles Blades: the Pacific Hockey League team in 1978–79 and the Western Hockey League team from 1961 to 1967. Stefan Grogg
Stefan Grogg (born February 16, 1974) is a Swiss former professional hockey forward (ice hockey), forward who played ice and inline hockey professionally in Switzerland and the United States. Grogg began his career playing for EHC Grindelwald youth team. He signed with HC Fribourg-Gottéron in 1993. Two years later Grogg moved to the U.S. and joined West Coast Hockey League, WCHL teams San Diego Gulls (1995–2006), San Diego Gulls and Anchorage Aces. That same season (1995/96) he also played inline hockey for the San Diego Barracudas, a member of Roller Hockey International, the first major professional league for inline hockey. Returning to Switzerland, Grogg joined EV Zug, which during that season (1997/98) won their only National League championship. Larry Floyd
Larry David Floyd (born May 1, 1961) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre and coach. Floyd played for numerous professional teams during his career from 1982 until 1984, including twelve games with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). Floyd also played roller hockey for the San Diego Barracudas in the RHI. Biography Floyd was born in Peterborough, Ontario. As a youth, he played in the 1974 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Peterborough. He later played junior ice hockey with the Peterborough Petes from 1978 until 1982. Floyd was not drafted by the NHL, and he pursued a professional career independently. After a professional tryout with the Rochester Americans in 1982, Floyd signed as a free agent with the New Jersey Devils in October 1982 and made his NHL debut February 27, 1983. John Clark Donatelli (born November 22, 1965) is an American former professional ice hockey player and is the former head coach of the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Donatelli was a long-time minor league player in the American Hockey League (AHL) and International Hockey League (IHL). He played 35 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). Internationally Donatelli played for the American national team at several World Championships, the 1988 and 1992 Winter Olympics. Matt DelGuidice
Matthew J. DelGuidice (born March 5, 1967) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 11 games in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins between 1991 and 1992. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1990 to 1999, was spent in various minor leagues. Playing career DelGuidice started his career early, playing in Connecticut high schools, first for East Haven then on to Notre Dame, where he won the state title in his senior year. DelGuidice then went to Williston Northampton School, winning a Division 2 title. Anaheim Bullfrogs
The Anaheim Bullfrogs were a professional inline hockey team based in Anaheim, California. The Bullfrogs played in Roller Hockey International (1993–1997) and Major League Roller Hockey (1998) before returning to Roller Hockey international (1999). The Bullfrogs played their home games in the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim. The team won two championships in 1993 and 1997, the only team to win more than one. The team also won the Major League Roller Hockey championship in 1998.
