San Agustín Atenango is a town and municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 82.93 km2. Gandara, officially the Municipality of Gandara ''(Waray: Bungto han Gandara)'', is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Samar, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 35,242 people. The town was formerly named Bangahon, but its population was resettled to its current location on September 29, 1902. San Agustin, officially the Municipality of San Agustin ( ilo, Ili ti San Agustin; tl, Bayan ng San Agustin), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Isabela, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 22,096 people. History Founded by Agustin Daguro Agpaoa in 1949, by virtue of Executive Order No. 259 dated September 28, 1949 issued by President Elpidio Quirino. The mayor named the new LGU after his first name but on official records, it was named after the patron of the new town. San Agustín del Guadalix is a Spanish town located north of the Comunidad de Madrid, near to Sierra de Guadarrama. It is bordered by Pedrezuela to the north, the municipalities of El Molar and Algete to the east and Colmenar Viejo to the south and west. The origin of the town is obscure, but it appears that it was settled by the Iberians in the pre-Christian era.
